Chairman’s Letter

Dear Members

Last years AGM had been arranged at what turned out to be a most difficult time.

Few of us could have foreseen the increasing consequences of the pandemic at that time; government advice altered regularly and some have suggested, without sufficient clarity.

We took the decision to press ahead in Apr 2019, but, understandably, few attended, rendering the meeting inquorate. It is not possible at this time to give any firm indication of when the AGM will be held, or indeed when meetings will resume.

However may I take take this opportunity to wish you well in these anxious circumstances, and to say the committee will be reviewing the situation in the light of ongoing guidance.

Let me say with determination we have every intention to ensure the Society’s survival and indeed growth when life returns to normality.
