The Sultan of Brunei is the king of the country and the muslim spiritual leader of its 250,000 people as have been his ancestors for 700years. Mrs Norma Walmesley was the tutor to the Sultans children, after the second world war Churchill restored parts of Borneo to the country. The King has an incredible income from its oil deposits of £19m per day There are only 15 principle families and to dilute the gene basis the king has children with different genealogical partners.
The King built two new villages for his people but they did not wish to move from their stilt houses over the sea , so he had all of these re furbished, retirement age can be as low as 35.
Mrs Walmesley had excellent slides depicting the wealth and opulence of the Royal Family and their life style including the Royal Palaces with hundreds of rooms and large numbers of Rolls Royce and private Lear Jet aeroplanes, much of the furniture by Louis Ferriq, fixtures and fittings were gold plated and the colour yellow is their own colour for sole use. The King has many high profile friends eg Prince Charles and his children..
He is the owner of an incredible art collection and there is a Malachite piano and tables chairs etc which are extremely heavy in the palace. Harrods are the principle suppliers of every thing they need in lavish style.
